Bituminous Products Reception Terminal

Private construction Terminal (Asfalcentro, SA) operated under private use regime, intended for liquid bulk handling (currently bituminous type with the possibility of fuels handling and storage to take place in the future).

Located in the expansion area of the Port, in the upstream of the current Terminal Entrance, it has 4 storage tanks of 1,600 m3 capacity each, one berth with two mooring poles, for vessels up to about 6,500 tons of DWT, 100 meters length and 6.5 m maximum draft.

There is a navigation channel dredged to -6.0 meters ZH depth for this terminal access. It has embankments with 27,000 m2 with its own fences.

The Terminal has also a cargo operations central, boiler and bombs house and the necessary safety devices for their operation.
